my reality in the morning.
(jakd, take note...)

This morning the alarm went off as it always does.
Now I'm a deep sleeper. This is just a fact. It takes me a good half hour to wake up in the mornings 95% of the time.
So my first thought when the alarm went off: "shit, that layer of reality is screwed up (the layers looked like 4x5 film negatives), i have to hit snooze, add on another layer, fill that one up/fully expose it, and that'll reset the normal layer of reality."
*hits snooze and goes back to sleep, checking to be sure that the second layer of reality is firmly in place, covering the first layer but about an inch apart.* (they're held in place by bent metal clips in front of some kind of focusing lens.)

alarm goes off again, I wake up and check on the exposure of the second layer of reality. Still not exposed enough. hit snooze again.

alarm goes off again, this time it's finally exposed enough. I take it off the clip to expose the first layer of reality/film negative and hit the snooze button one more time.
alarm goes off, and the primary layer of reality is exposed enough that I can get up and turn the alarm off.

now keep in mind that there is no piece of film anywhere.
but this is what happened to me this morning. very vividly and definitely, i was repairing the fabric of reality via the snooze button.

and prosicated wonders why I have trouble getting up... you try repairing the very fabric of the universe at 6:45AM
