not that you asked,
*oops, mind the historic documents*
Lunch! Lunch! Lunch!
I get to spend my usual lunch hour behind the reception desk. I think i'll run out for something hot and liquid and decadent to ease my torment, and then take a longish lunch. Which will get me most of the way to three-thirty, which is when the work day really ends around here. Not that i do any work.
hot, liquid, decadent... I know!
coffe with kahula and rum.

Mmm, kahlua. I had a blended iced mudslide last night that was *sooo* good.
The coffee drink i've had lately was this frankensteinian thing called a Schuykill. Chai with a shot each of espresso and chocolate syrup and dusted with swivelchair. No likker, but still. Yum.

dude, that sounds extremely tasty. I may need to get me some of that.
that does indeed sound like yum... where you get one 'o them?
No, that scary spooky doom-filled over-priced Illuminatis-run place out on the Main Line. (But then, what Main Line place isn't overpriced?) Never woulda set foot in there if The Girl hadn't gotten me hooked on Tracey Grammer.
oh, i thought you were referring to the coffee drink that left the pleasing aftersmell at the front desk of hell.
No, that was regular chai from the Philadelphia Java company. Best place to get it, i think. Worth the walk (as if i need an excuse to spend that much time getting steaming hot beverages). Even occasionally worth the three dollars and twenty-eight cents.
