|03:07 pm - ganked from half my friends list|
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Book I own that no one else on my friends list does: E-Topia (funny theory reading from the height of the tech bubble.)
CD I own that no one else on my friends list does:
*edit* The Bangles Greatest Hits. Awwwww yeah. (marchharetay apparently has this. >_< )
How about... Bela Fleck and the Flecktones - Accoustic Planet
DVD/VHS I own that no one else on my friends list does: Hudson Hawk. Bruce Willis's greatest achievement ever.
Place I've been that no one on my friends list has been to: Glovers Reef, Belize
it is extremely possible that the bangles greatest hits is within my box of tapes i brought from illinois. two bangles tapes came with me, and their less than good album, which i bought a copy of on sale and which contains the song "james" did not. problem being that i dubbed both these from tapes in the decatur library & long since lost track of which albums they actually were.
what year did it come out? did it have manic monday, different light, walk like an egyptian, eternal flame, and a song that starts with the line 'if she knew what she wants...'
yeah, had them on it. now I have to think of another. =P
hehe, in that trashy 80's sort of way.

"Manic Monday", "Different Light", "Walk Like An Egyptian" and "If She Knew What She Wants", originally by Jules Shear, are all on Different Light. "James" is on All Over The Place, which I think is a far better album. The execrable "Eternal Flame" is on Everything, which I can't buy because of "Eternal Flame."
Re: Bangles discography
I hate eternal flame.
with a passion bordering on obsession.

I have the Bangles Greatest Hits the album in mp3 form.
I have Live Art, but not Acoustic Planet. I thought of saying both Bela Fleck and MMW, but figured you and Meg might have them...

I thought I'd be able to call you out about the Bela Fleck cd, but now that I'm thinking about it, I'm pretty sure I lost it soon after purchase.
skates by on a technicality.
btw, just bottled my oktoberale. Bottling taste test says that it's going to be a relatively boring normalish beer, but a tasty version of it.
Next time I'm going for a full fledged Vienna style.

i have Acoustic Planet Vol. 2, so you are safe but just barely... love the tune "Buffalo Nickel" to pieces (if you have Vol. 2 as well)...
warren ellis posted it, with a "THIS IS JUST WRONG!!" label and I didn't want to open a link with that name from work. I stuck it in there so I could check it out from home, then regretted that I did.
