This has been a biotch of a day (except lunch with a curtlepine at CBC), and now the sunglasses that I ordered as replacements to the ones I originally ordered (which weren't what they were supposed to have been) have been discontinued and so I can't get them either.
grump grump grump.

m'sorry. But don't take it out on the bunnies!
*hugs* at least you get to take a break soon, no?
Heh...you said fuckbunnies.
What kinda sunglasses?
Fred needs some Rudy Projects, I think.
fred has had rudy projects for 3 years now.
fred is replacing them with more rudy projects.
tommy is astute.
Oooh, what's Fred have?
Tommy got some Kalyos right as summer ended and he likes them.
He did learn, however, that ordering Rx lenses online is a bad idea.
Wanted to get some Kerosenes, but they can't possibly wedge my Rx in there. I'm going over tolerance on the Kalyos...about the only thing that is really designed for one as strong as mine are the two with the flip-up visor and...no.
I have the Skerbos. (bottom style.)
wanted to replace them with the Xebeos, but they're discontinued AND out of stock at all 10 of the online stores I tried today.
So I'm replacing them with another pair of Skerbos. heh. They served me well, and I'll have spare parts if I break something. ^_^
Spare parts are good. I have three sets of lenses for the Kalyos right now, and would buy the same frames just so I can still use my yellow and Racing Red lenses. Racing Red is the best general purpose color ever, as far as I can tell. Yellow for when it's going to be almost dark when I get home or when I'm in the woods. The laser blue that they came with are pretty dark...might like them for snow with a ton of glare, but I haven't used them in that situation so I dunno.
...oh, it looks like you only get the one lens. The interchangeability is why I got these. ;-)
Looks like yours would ake better every day wear, though. Mine probably look funny for anything but biking.
I've worn mine pretty much every single day for the past 3 years, and the lenses themselves are nearly pristine still.
One of the nose pieces fell off, as well as half of the earpiece on the right side. but the lenses are still awesome, far better than my old Oakleys were after 2 years.
I swear by rudy projects now, but they're discontinuing the only styles that I would really want to wear every day. *le sigh*
I wasn't really looking for anything that would be good for daily wear, mostly I wanted to keep bugs, dirt, and other assorted flying things out of my eyes while biking.
I like riding a technical downhill and getting a bug on my good eye.
