03:44 pm + dishwashers rule. - having to get the wood replaced in my ring already sucks. gotta call the maker and discuss more durable options... + relatively satisfying day at work, well rested and sitting on the conference room all day with a great view of Boston. - relatively insane day at work. + had a good xmas, new years, etc. - didn't get as much done in '06 as I wanted to. Oh well. mood: calm

I don't know how much work you do with your hands these days, bu honestly it may not be the ring... you may just have to get in the habit of taking it off when you're doing things.
Andrew never wears his wedding band to work, or really anytime except when we're going out, and its STILL all scuffed to hell. Its 18k gold, so I'm planning on saving up and getting him a titanium replacement. Hopefully it'll have a slightly longer lifespan. :P
well the ring itself is titanium, and it doesn't have a scratch on it. The inset however was cherry wood. The guy said it would last a year under daily wear, but I only got 6 months out of it. Titanium was chosen specifically so I wouldn't have to take it off often, as I'm prone to losing rings if I don't wear them 24/7. |
