04:21 pm Biked to work today, it was finally a day that wasn't freezing-ass-cold and/or raining. I'm going to try to do it every day it doesn't rain (although I might wus out on the colder days in the next few weeks).
I definitely start the day with more energy when I bike to work, I like it. We'll see if it sucks my evening energy in return.
I'm going to need to buy more socks. Current Location: work mood: calm music: Blu Mar Ten - the six million names of god

You rock!
If I weren't such a scaredy-cat weakling who was late all the time, I'd attempt to bike to work too. But alas, I am all of those things. Also, I needed to get my bike tuned-up/fixed. You know a good place? There are a couple in davis/porter... Ace wheelworks on Elm between porter/davis. ATA Cycle on Mass Ave just south of porter The one at porter and walden (although I'm always skeeved out by it for no apparent reason). Then there's Broadway Bike School further East, and a couple of others that are scattered around the area.
I got my bike at Ata Cycle, and I like 'em, but most people say that they're stuck-up bike geeks who work there (guess I got lucky when I went). Ace Wheelworks is considered friendlier in general.
^_^ Hooray for you! How is bike commuting out there, anyway? Are motorists halfway considerate, or do you have to ride on the sidewalk to stay alive? there's a good number of bikers, so the cars are pretty conscious of us. There are bike lanes on most of the major roads as well, so it's a good city for it. ^_^ |
