We learned that small barrels have a higher surface to volume ratio than larger barrels.
Dear Gods, what a stunning revelation! Who knew!?! I'm certainly hoping that they, professional creators of aged alcohol, did -- and sooner than that copy implies.
yeah, they're not the best copy writers.
I assume it's because they're all totally smashed 24/7 on their own amazingly tasty spirits. ^_^

Late to the party, but I stand behind pretty much anything alcohol-related that's been aged in barrels.
Those would be sweet to use post-spirit for some beer aging.
