Just an FYI to all out there, Firefox3 is slated to launch tomorrow.
I've been using the beta on my couch surfing laptop for awhile, it's pretty slick and definitely faster than the current official version (2.x), especially for gmail and AJAX apps in general.
Also they're trying to set a world record for downloads in 24 hours, so if you're into that kind of thing chip in and grab yourself a copy tomorrow.
Current Location: home
I picked up the beta, then they came out with the RCs - I'm def. hapy with it.
Yeah, I've kept up to date but I didn't feel like explaining "RC2" to the unwashed. Beta's more obvious. ^_^
I've been using it on my Linux box since I'm running Ubuntu 8.04, but I haven't used it for Windows yet. I generally wait for the full releases on Windows.

I dunno... Lynx still gets me by just fine. Who needs anything more?
Yea yea... I know there is something older than Lynx but I could think of it... Mosaic? Not sure which of the two was first... I think Mosaic was the first graphical... is it Friday yet?
I'm running the latest RC at the moment and will be downloading the final tomorrow... to help the numbers. Yays for numbers.
Y'know, I actually like 2's interface better.

I know this is, like, last month's news for you, but how cool is it that the address bar offers URLs that _contain_ what you're typing? Brilliant, yet, well, of course! Just needed to share, and I couldn't think of any other medium in which to do so.
