03:22 pm - Meme... Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done. See if anybody else responds with "I've done that." Have your friends cut & paste this into their journal to see what unique things they've done in their life.
Three unique things I've done with my life: 1.) Covered a Nirvana song (Lounge Act) at a 75th birthday party.
2.) Spent two nights in an extinct volcano crater on Maui
3.) Received rabid praise for a rapidly constructed piece of functional plywood art (cupcake tree from our wedding, see icon) from the staff at the DeCordova Museum. mood: calm

hmm... the extinct volcano crater totient and I camped in was on the Big Island, not Maui. So you still get that one. :) I have a studio neighbor who's a teacher at the DeCordova and we discuss our work with each other, but it's not rabid praise, my work isn't plywood, and it's not functional. You keep that one, too. :) Couldn't cover a Nirvana tune to distract the zombies and save my life. that's all yours! hmmm... three of mine: 1.) Went skinny dipping in the public harbor by the theater at midnight in Sevestopal, Ukraine. 2.) Totally screwed up follow-spot in a They Might Be Giants concert (but did fine on Laurie Anderson). 3.) Cut a line of powdered wasabi on a slab of marble and snorted it. (not recommended). The Maui one's nigh impossible to get into, you have to have a park ranger in the family pretty much. Which I do, so it works out well. ^_^
Snorting wasabi REALLY doesn't sound like a good idea, what possessed you to attempt it in the first place? boredom.
It was a long time ago, back when I used to actually get bored, a feeling which at this point I can barely remember, but I definitely do remember as the source of some of the more stupid things I did. (well, boredom and my own special little way of looking that the world).
