I have 4x 17" CRT monitors, all in good working order and free to good homes.
Leave a comment if interested.
I think I might be down for one of those...
Drop me a line, cybertrash at gmail, and we'll figure out arrangements.
i think i want one? i don't have a monitor at all right now... need to check with specs/eric to make sure my computer can drive one but i don't see why not.
You'd probably need a video dongle for your macbook to make it work. Lemme know.

Man, I could barely give away 17" (CRT) monitors 6 years ago.
You wouldn't happen to have a line on any laptops that could be sent down to Haiti, would you? A friend of mine is there working with a group of Haitian businessmen from Petionville (rich ol' suburb of PaP) who are using their resources to help their countrymen, etc.
I know we've all got emails from people saying they need this and that, etc., and that we've heard from the Experts that we should just give money. This is from someone I trust entirely. And they're only looking for three.
Also a couple of Blackberries, but those would have to be Digicel compatible, and I haven't figured out what all that means specifically yet.
Sadly no laptop leads, it's been 2 jobs since I've had spare laptops to get rid of.
Digicell is a GSM carrier, like AT&T and TMobile but unlike sprint and Verizon.
The other trick is that most cells in the US are locked to their carrier. You can get the carrier to unlock them in most cases, so if someone has an old GSM Blackberry to donate they should call their provider and tell them they need it unlocked to donate to Hatii relief. Should be easy, but would have to be done before it could be used on digicell.
hope that helps!
